About Señora Perry
Diana Perry, Passionate Educator
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students of all ages succeed in learning Spanish. I’ve taught Spanish at every level, from preschool to high school, college, and conversational classes.
Born in Mexico City and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, my love for the Spanish language and culture was further shaped by studying abroad in Valencia, living in Madrid, and traveling extensively throughout Mexico. I’ve also explored countries like Honduras, Costa Rica, Cuba, Italy, France, Greece, and Portugal, fostering a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and global perspectives.
Beyond teaching, I have a rich history of community involvement, including over two decades of volunteer work with the Exeter Area Junior Federation Women’s Club (EJFWC). I’ve organized cultural programs, such as bringing authentic Mexican folk artisans to schools, led student trips abroad, and facilitated language and STEM opportunities for young learners.
I believe in creating a nurturing, respectful, and engaging environment where students can thrive. Whether I’m teaching, traveling, or volunteering, my goal is to inspire curiosity, cultural understanding, and confidence in every student I work with.
